Barry Rogstad, PhD.President, American Business Conference (ret.)
Dr. Rogstad is previous President of American Business Conference and Chief Economist, a position he held since its founding in 1981 through 2013. He launched his business economics career at Planning Research Corporation (now Northrup Grumman) and served as VP and board member Systran (a premier machine tools firm now private). Barry later served as Managing Partner and Board Member of International Consulting and Strategic Management Services at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). He is an active board member highlighted by his service with Baldor Electric Company (NYSE: BEZ), Johns Hopkins HealthCare and with the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Board of Overseers. He earned his BA and MA from Clark University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Brown University.
Michael BolandFounder, Dome Compass (Public Policy)
Mr. Boland is founder and CEO of Dome Compass, a nonpartisan platform designed for policy professionals. During his five decades in Washington, Michael has played a role in major economic legislative battles – banking, budgets, defense, energy, mergers, pensions, securities litigation reform, taxes, technology, and telecom. Michael launched his career in 1978 as Counsel for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, then as Chief Counsel for the US House of Representatives Republican Whip. After co-founding a leading lobbying, he served as SVP of Verizon for Federal Legislative Affairs. This led to Dome Advisors, a policy and political risk advisor, and the formation of Dome Compass. Michael holds a BA from Notre Dame and a JD from Gonzaga University.
Tobias BuckFounder, CEO Paragon Medical (Ret.)
Mr. Buck is founder and former CEO/Chair of Paragon Medical, which teams with medical device manufacturers worldwide to accelerate new product development of high precision components. He was named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for small manufacturing firms (1998) and Indiana Entrepreneur of the Year award in the life sciences (2004). He is widely recognized internationally for his entrepreneurship and innovation. Toby is an active investor, and has served on numerous boards, including nonprofit organizations such as Indiana Heritage Trust, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Nature Conservancy. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Purdue University and completed the Harvard Executive Development Program and MIT’s “Birthing of Giants”, a 3-year graduate certification program.
William DoranSenior Partner, Morgan Lewis & Bockius (Ret.)
Mr Doran is a retired senior partner of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, an international law firm with approximately 840 attorneys worldwide and 200+ in its Philadelphia headquarters. Before his retirement, Bill’s practice focused on investment management, major securities industry issues, mergers and acquisitions and project finance. His practice was both international and domestic, Bill also served as lead outside counsel for SEI Investments and was recently elected after his retirement from Morgan Lewis to SEI’s Board of Directors. He is a veteran member of American Business Conference with a particular focus on the SEC. Bill earned a BS at Northwestern University and a LLB at University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Arthur (Skip) HendersonFounder, CEO IntelaCare PBC, IBM (ret.)
Mr. Henderson is the Principal of Affinity Networks, Inc., a systems integration firm delivering products and services to the healthcare, homeland security, energy, and general business sectors. He also serves as a Venture Partner with Precision Health Ventures, a firm managing invests in healthcare digital therapeutics and AI-based analytics. Skip is a recognized industry leader in the areas of health IT, patient engagement, home telehealth, and mobile health, and was appointed to the CMS, ONC Federal Advisory Committee on Consumer Engagement, and the White House Champions of Change. Mr. Henderson earned his BA at Duke University, and became a Fellow of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (2008), and attended the Stanford Business School Program for Growing Companies (2012)
